The main event during my trip to Washington, D.C. last weekend was my sister's law school graduation. It was part celebration and part nostalgia for me, as almost exactly seven years ago I graduated from the same law school! (Good heavens - that makes me sound OLD!) It was neat to visit my old stomping grounds. Even though I was living only a few miles away from the school until last year, I hardly ever had any reason to go back to campus. Seeing the changes as well as the same old places and faces was special.Anyway, it was a very special occasion in its own right, as my sister has made so many sacrifices and overcome so many challenges to get her J.D.
